Let me start that worried me most...Just now during my WISP class
we talk about patriotic for Singapore. The question is like this..
If there is a war in Singapore do we want to fight for the love of
Singapore of we will run away..?
I admit that we live in Singapore is too, way too pampered..We live
so comfortably that we do not think about anything else but for our
pleasure..For example during lunch we have headache of choosing what
food to eat..Choosing of food can be headache sometimes, seriously..
This is Singapore..We have to treasure what we have now..
We do not worry about being attack by other countries..
Back to the question most of my male friends would run away if they
is a war going on in Singapore...If male do not want to defend Singapore
then do we aspect the female to defend our country. I really feel
worried that young Singaporean feel that way. Hopefully keeping my fingers
cross i hope that, that sort of youth male is a few only..
Also they commented about going NS..they said that y should All abled
male should go for NS..y not only male who want to go NS will then
be registered..Singapore is a small population and we need all our manpower
to defend our country...but if for example only a few volunteer becomes
NS men preparing them IF there is a war then i think not many will
volunteer...
Thats worry me most when we do not emphasis on loving for the country..
